Tarun Kumar Kalra is based at the Singapore office where he is mandated to lead Apptio’s business expansion across Asia ensuring geographical footprint expansion, deepening client engagements, strengthening strategic partner GTM’s and building a profitable growth engine. 

Tarun brings a unique blend of regional and global leadership experience built across key strategic functions of sales, product management, channel strategy execution, Business consulting & Change management built over 23 years in the constantly evolving and disruptive technology industry. Tarun has been in Singapore for the last 16 years where he has held regional & Global Leadership positions with organizations like Cisco, Infosys, HCL Technologies, Mphasis (HP) & credolab. Tarun is deeply connected with and passionate about the value creation in the startup ecosystem having recently led the global expansion of one of the leading and disruptive Series A funded Fintech headquartered in Singapore.

A collaborative, “enable, equip & empower” style of leadership makes him a people driven leader with clear focus on aligning individual aspirations with organization objectives.

A Financial markets enthusiast and an economist at heart, Tarun has a Masters in International Finance from the London School of Economics in addition to an MBA in Finance from India.

A Singapore citizen, Tarun is settled in Singapore with his wife and 19-year-old daughter who is currently pursuing her university education in London.
